In Switzerland, one out of every three food items still ends up in the waste. We do not find that acceptable. With around 200 public refrigerators throughout Switzerland, Madame Frigo is committed to ensuring that edible food does not end up in the trash. Together with our volunteers, we are already saving over 900 tons of food every year. From 1 November 2026 or by arrangement, we are looking for a Project Assistant 80% The position is versatile, varied and sometimes even surprising. Therefore, we are looking for someone who thinks proactively, takes responsibility and enjoys working in a wide variety of areas. What awaits you with us You will manage a portion of our refrigerator locations in Switzerland with primary responsibility for the Romandie and will be the first point of contact for volunteers and interested parties. You will support them with questions and challenges and visit the locations regularly on-site. In addition, you will help in the area of fundraising with the creation of funding applications as well as with the maintenance and expansion of relationships with foundations and companies in the Romandie. In the area of communication, you will take on translation tasks and represent Madame Frigo at events. In short: No day is like the other. What you bring with you • You have very good written and spoken German and French skills. Italian is a big plus. • You enjoy communicating with a wide variety of target groups and approach others openly and proactively. • You work independently and organized and maintain an overview even in hectic situations. • You think solution-oriented and tackle challenges pragmatically. • You are interested in ecological and social issues and ideally already have experience in one of the three areas: Community Management, Fundraising or Communication. • You like being on the go and also like to lend a practical hand. • You enjoy working in a team, contribute your own ideas and want to actively help shape a young non-profit organization.
