Regional Office Manager / School Psychologist (80% - 90%) for the Rorschach Regional Office

The School Psychological Service of the Canton of St. Gallen (SPD) is a counseling service for students, their parents and teachers, as well as for school management and school authorities. Around 90 people work at the central office, the seven regional offices and at the crisis intervention group. Further information can be found at

Regional Office Manager / School Psychologist (80% - 90%) for the Rorschach Regional Office

Area Management and Member of the Executive Board (15%)

To the extent of 25%, the Rorschach Regional Office Manager has a supervisory function towards seven employees, contact with the presidencies of the 17 school authorities and membership in the SPD management conference. The school psychological activity of 55% includes assessments, counseling, interventions and cooperation with specialist agencies and authorities. Since rural municipalities must also be supported, the activity requires the use of one's own car.

At the same time, the function of Area Management is to be filled to the extent of 15%. This person manages a regional office themselves, is superior to one to two other regional office managers and is responsible for specific specialist areas of the SPD. They are a member of the four-person executive board of the SPD.

• University degree in psychology (Licentiate or Master)
• Completed specialist psychological training
• Several years of experience as a school psychologist
• Willingness to take on leadership responsibility
• Communicative and committed personality
• Interest in solution-oriented counseling, in issues of school development and in interdisciplinary cooperation
