Senior Commercial Intelligence Manager

In the Business Intelligence team, you don't just evaluate data, but you translate insights into clear courses of action and advise management and specialist departments as a Trusted Advisor. Together, we drive the transformation from reactive reporting towards proactive, intelligent Commercial Intelligence.

• You analyze a wide variety of business KPIs of our brands, sales channels, and partners and identify opportunities, risks, as well as central performance and growth drivers
• You proactively recognize irregularities, anomalies, and changes in our business data at an early stage and make their impact on our business transparent
• You advise specialist departments and management on strategic and operational issues and support sound business decisions with data-based analyses
• You use modern analytics, automation, and AI technologies to bring insights into the business faster and more scalably. In doing so, you develop and train AI Agents so that anomalies are recognized early, connections become visible, and decisions are better supported
• You actively help drive the transformation from reactive reporting towards proactive, smart Commercial Intelligence

Your skills:

• Master (ETH/Uni/FH) in Business Informatics, Business Administration, Data Science, or a related field
• Several years of experience in the area of Business Intelligence, Commercial Analytics, Business Insights, Performance Management, or in a comparable function
• Strong analytical and conceptual thinking skills as well as the ability to prepare complex issues in an understandable and management-ready manner
• Confident appearance as well as the ability to advise different stakeholders at eye level, challenge them constructively, persuade them, and present content appropriately for the target audience
• Experience in using modern analytics, BI, and automation tools as well as a good technical understanding (e.g., SQL) to analyze data efficiently and make insights effectively usable
• Experience with new technologies, AI-supported analyses, and modern tool landscapes; ideally also interest in the development, training, and use of AI Agents in the analytics environment
• Proactive, curious, and structured way of working with a strong sense for opportunities, risks, and relevant changes
• Very good German and English; French is an advantage

The contractual place of work is Fribourg and accordingly, you would also have to work regularly on-site.
