Head of the Geomatics Specialized Unit (m/f/d)

What you can make move. • Within the "Engineering" business unit of Infrastructure, you lead the "Geomatics" specialized unit (approximately 50 employees). With your management team, you develop the specialized unit with a future-oriented perspective. • Your main tasks include the direct management and coaching of four team leaders and one expert at the sites of Renens, Olten, Zurich-Altstetten, and Bellinzone. • You guarantee the resources and skills of the specialized unit and are responsible for the study and implementation of all planning and renewal projects within the "Geomatics" specialized unit safely, while respecting costs, deadlines, and quality. • You contribute actively to efficient project execution through the digitalization, harmonization, and standardization of collaboration with internal and external partners. • You are responsible for the "Geomatics" specialized management, represent the interests of CFF and the specialized unit, and are the contact person for internal and external stakeholders. • As a member of the Engineering management team, you advise and provide support on strategy and design issues. You are also active in terms of the sustainable, cultural, and digital development of the entire business unit, both in terms of content and processes. What you bring. • Your ability to quickly assimilate complex topics and your solution-oriented method allow you to familiarize yourself quickly with new thematic areas. • You have good stakeholder management and communicate convincingly, skillfully, and on an equal footing at all hierarchical levels. Due to your approachable attitude, you manage to convince even dissenting voices. • As an experienced executive, you inspire people and teams. You also have several years of experience in construction and/or railway infrastructure construction as well as in the management of complex projects. • You have studied in a technical field. In addition, you have completed continuing education in the field of business administration. • Your experiences in the field of geomatics complement your profile. • You communicate easily in German (C1). Good knowledge of French (level B2) is an asset.
