Das Insel Data Science Center (IDSC) is a cross-divisional facility of the Insel Gruppe, which bundles all tasks for data analysis. Its main tasks include the development and operation of the data platform as well as the applications built upon it. For the further development and operation of our central Insel Data Plattform within the IDSC, we are looking for you as a Database Specialist.

What awaits you ##

• Active participation in the expansion, further development, and operation of the existing SQL-based Data Warehouses in the IDSC
• Active participation in the connection and modeling of various source systems
• Conception, modeling, and implementation of solutions in an agile project environment
• Participation in the conception and construction of the (DWH-) DevOps infrastructure and processes
• Close cooperation with Data Analysts/Data Engineers, the specialist departments, and infrastructure teams

What you bring with you ##

• University or university of applied sciences education in the fields of computer science, business informatics, or an equivalent education
• Min. 5 years of practical professional experience in the Data Warehousing area, preferably in the Microsoft environment (MS SQL, SSIS), as well as very good SQL knowledge
• Experience in the field of database system administration, as well as practical professional experience in the DevOps area
• Experience in the area of EPIC DWH (e.g., Caboodle) and with frontend tools (SSRS) are an advantage
• Open, understandable, and audience-oriented communication
• High motivation, enthusiasm, proactivity, and joy in interdisciplinary cooperation
• Very good oral as well as written German skills as well as good English skills
