Forum Secretary (Process Support) for the Forum «Raum & Mobilität Zürcher Grossraum» (40% annual workload, temporary until the end of 2027)

The RZU is the [planning umbrella organization of the dynamic and closely interconnected region of Zurich and surroundings](< >) with 1.1 million inhabitants and 900,000 employees. The RZU member regions Stadt Zürich, Glattal, Pfannenstil, Zimmerberg and Limmattal want to [advance mobility development in a coordinated and cooperative manner](< >) -- because mobility in the closely interconnected agglomeration area requires joint approaches and solutions. In the new Forum <<Raum & Mobilität Zürcher Grossraum>>, the five regions address existing and future challenges in mobility, work out guiding solutions and develop new projects or ventures that they want to implement together. The RZU supports the five regions in setting up the forum. Its secretariat will be attached to the RZU office. The position is temporary until the end of 2027 with an option for extension. We offer you a multifaceted and demanding job in an extraordinary process at the interface of spatial planning and politics. You ensure the organizational foundations so that the participating regions can deal with the relevant spatial and transport issues in a targeted manner and develop joint solutions and projects. You will work closely with the participants in the regions and the project management at the RZU office and support them in the preparation of documents, information about the process, media monitoring and in the areas of organization and accounting. In all your activities, you will benefit from close cooperation in an interdisciplinary team and from the existing, extensive network of the RZU in planning and politics. What do you bring with you? You are interested in mobility topics in urban areas. You are proactive, committed, enthusiastic and flexible. You have several years of professional experience in supporting planning and mobility projects or in participation processes. If applicable, you are interested in re-entering the workforce after a long break. You work independently, efficiently and systematically.
