Complete job description ------------------------------- https://www.police-municipale.ch/ Imperative criteria • Age limit for admission: being at least 18 years old, • Nationality: being of Swiss nationality or in possession of a C permit, • Domiciliation: The domicile area is defined by the employer, • French language: having a certificate of success of the complete French test organized by UNIGE (online registration on https://mdl.unige.ch/fr/servicecite/cfps/examen-francais/examen-pour-le-metier-a-la-police-municipale/) • Practice of a foreign language: knowledge of a second language (A2 level), • Training: having successfully completed a 3-year post-obligatory training recognized at the federal level, Foreign diplomas and certificates: please consult the Confederation's website for recognition of diplomas. Before that and if necessary, you must first have your documents translated by an official professional translator • Background: having a clean criminal record. Not being subject to prosecution or default of property. Unfavourable judicial or police backgrounds can be eliminatory in the selection and admission process; • Driver's license: being in possession of a category B driver's license before the start of training, • Health: meeting medical criteria in terms of health, visual acuity and physical condition, Once selected, you will follow an initial 8-month training (practical, theoretical and tactical courses and participate in many physical activities) co-managed by the municipal police of the City of Genève and the Centre de formation de la police et des métiers de la sécurité (CFPS).
