The Staatsanwaltschaft is responsible for criminal prosecution. Under the leadership of the First Public Prosecutor, it comprises the three departments: General Department, Youth Prosecution, and Traffic Department. The General Department handles all criminal cases where the Traffic Department or the Youth Prosecution are not responsible.

The described position is to be filled as of 1 January 2027 or by arrangement.

What awaits you

• Focus on property and special offenses

Responsibility for the independent management of assigned cases until final legal conclusion

• Issuance of indictments, penal orders, and dismissal orders
• Personal representation of the prosecution before the Cantonal Court and High Court
• Performing on-call duty

What you bring with you

• Completed legal studies
• Experience in criminal prosecution (at least 1 year internship/clerkship at a Staatsanwaltschaft)
• Preferably a CAS and/or MAS Forensics
• Conscientious and expeditious way of working, communication skills and resilience as well as assertiveness
• Very good German language skills, fluency in written and oral expression
• Flexibility and high resilience
• Swiss citizenship is necessary for this position
