Our client is a dynamic young association based in Basel, which aims to strengthen the resilience of the financial sector against cyber risks and to build a common structure for information exchange and crisis management.

Your tasks

• Implementation of the association's strategic priorities regarding communication, development and further development of topic communication, the maintenance of topic dossiers as well as the implementation and further development of the communication strategy
• Responsibility for media work and active relationship management with journalists
• Observation of political and regulatory developments in Switzerland. Analysis of their relevance for the association and development of positions and statements
• Leading editorial meetings, responsibility for the annual planning of all communication activities
• Advising the board and the management office on communication issues and supporting with briefings, presentations and other communication measures
• Writing and editing content for media releases, newsletters, annual reports, social media, website and other channels
• Analysis of the impact of communication measures

Your profile

• University degree or higher education in communication, media studies or marketing
• Several years of sound experience in communication work
• Experience in the banking or insurance environment is an advantage
• Interest in finance and cyber security topics as well as in politics
• Experience in the further development of integrated communication as well as in crisis communication
• Experience in using content, analytics and AI tools
• German native language (stylistically proficient in speaking and writing), very good English skills in speaking and writing (at least C1), French is an advantage
• Communicative, personable and team-oriented personality
• Very high conceptual skills
• Networked thinking ability
• Flair for organization and coordination
