Do you want to give a new dimension to your HSE career and play a key role in the safety, prevention, and continuous improvement of an industrial site?
Our client, an industrial company located in the canton de Fribourg, is looking for an HSE Manager to take charge of the site's HSE strategy and support teams in developing a true safety culture.
You will not simply be responsible for enforcing procedures: you will be a true partner to management and the operational teams.
Your role
As HSE Manager, you are the company's point of reference for all questions related to health, safety, and the environment.
Your main responsibilities:
Define and deploy the HSE strategy in collaboration with management.
Identify risks and implement concrete prevention actions.
Conduct risk analyses, audits, and field inspections.
Ensure the follow-up of accidents, incidents, and near-misses.
Define and manage corrective and preventive action plans.
Raise awareness, train, and support employees on a daily basis.
Develop a strong safety culture within the company.
Guarantee compliance with Swiss legal and regulatory requirements.
Implement and monitor HSE KPIs and present results to management.
Actively participate in industrial projects and continuous improvement processes.
Collaborate closely with production, maintenance, HR, and the various departments of the company.
Your profile
You are a field-oriented HSE professional, capable of bridging the gap between regulatory requirements and operational realities.
You ideally possess:
A higher education degree in HSE, occupational safety, environment, engineering, or equivalent.
Confirmed experience in an HSE function, ideally in an industrial environment.
A good knowledge of Swiss legislation regarding occupational health and safety.
Experience in risk analysis, audits, and incident management.
Excellent communication skills and an ability to convince and unite.
A pragmatic, autonomous, and solution-oriented mindset.
A proactive, rigorous personality close to the field.
Excellent command of French.
Good knowledge of English.
Mastery of German is an asset, but not indispensable.
