For its Gastronomy professional sector at its site in Biel/Bienne, the Centre social protestant Berne-Jura is looking to hire a: Practical Work Specialist Gastronomy (100%) ## Main tasks: • instruct, supervise, and support a kitchen team composed of people participating in a professional or social reintegration program for social assistance beneficiaries in the performance of the tasks entrusted to them in a personalized manner, taking into account their specific resources and skills • plan and organize the work of these people in accordance with the objectives aimed for each of them • offer them individual work accompaniment adapted to each situation • prepare these people for the exercise of a first-market job in the gastronomy sector within their reach, taking into account their skills, but also their development potential Requirements: • CFC as a cook • proven and duly attested professional experience in the catering sector, if possible with personnel management responsibilities • ability and interest in transmitting professional skills to people in professional or social reintegration • leadership, listening skills, availability, and patience • very good ability to plan, organize, and coordinate the work to be carried out • good knowledge of standard IT tools • good command of French and German Place of work: Biel/Bienne, Chemin du Long-Champ 135 Start date: 1st October 2026 or to be agreed We offer attractive working conditions, in a modern environment, with working hours facilitating the reconciliation between professional and personal life (opening during the day, mainly from Monday to Friday).
