Microsoft Sentinel Consultant - (m,f,d) - Azure / Security 40 - 80%

Project / Role: For a long-term project, we are looking for an experienced Microsoft Sentinel Consultant (Azure Security). The focus is on consulting for the conception and further development of a security logging and monitoring architecture based on Microsoft Sentinel. In doing so, the person works closely with the responsible security, SOC, and engineering teams.

Main Tasks:

• Consulting on the conception and further development of the Azure Security Logging and Monitoring architecture
• Definition of logging requirements, relevant data sources, and integration specifications
• Translation of detection use cases and SOC requirements into clear technical specifications
• Creation of specifications for engineering and implementation teams
• Review and validation of implementations in Microsoft Sentinel
• Ensuring compliance with defined requirements and best practices

Requirements:

• At least three years of experience in the field of security logging and monitoring in Azure environments
• Sound practical experience with Microsoft Sentinel
• Experience in defining logging requirements, data sources, and integrations
• Good understanding of SOC processes and detection use cases
• Ability to translate security requirements into technical specifications
• Experience in reviewing and validating technical implementations
• Good consulting and communication skills

Languages:

• German - Fluent in spoken and written (at least C1)
