Job Description ##

IT specialist training is possible with us in two specializations: "Application Development" and "Platform Development".

Application Development:

A versatile training for curious tinkerers who love designing user-friendly software!

You will work actively in a team on exciting projects:

• Plan, code, test, and document applications with different programming languages, frameworks, and architectures
• Operate, maintain, and extend existing applications
• Plan, develop, and maintain automated deployment workflows for making applications available on server systems
• Install, configure, and monitor server systems
• Guarantee the security and availability of systems and services
• Plan and lead projects in the field of application development

Platform Development:

A versatile training for structured problem solvers who love building digitally!

In this training, you ensure the smooth functioning of the ICT infrastructure:

• Plan, implement, and automate processes and procedures
• Administer servers and networks
• Plan and operate server services and systems
• Participate in various projects

The training lasts 4 years, including 1 year of basic training in our computer laboratory in Zürich-Oerlikon.

Profile ##

You are fascinated by IT, like to think in a logical and abstract manner, and have a good capacity for spatial visualization. You take pleasure in finding creative solutions and do not back down from challenges. Your high capacity for concentration as well as your systematic and structured way of working make you progress. Furthermore, you like working in a team and being in contact with customers.

For this professional training, you need a compulsory school diploma and good grades in the following subjects:

• English
• Mathematics
