Tasks

• Conception and design of motion and sensor systems, mechanical and mechatronic devices, instruments, modules with optical, thermal or fluidic functions, including assembly and testing of prototypes
• Automating production processes and conducting feasibility studies
• Ensuring technical and development-accompanying documentation according to customer and normative requirements
• Applying approaches and methods such as Design-to-Cost, Design Thinking, and Rapid Prototyping
• Interdisciplinary cooperation with internal and external colleagues
• You involve all stakeholders (users / production / service / purchasing / IP etc.) in the development and understand how to develop the best solution for customers
• As a service provider, bravely and with enthusiasm do everything for the competitive advantage of our customers

Profile

• Completed mechanical engineering studies (FH/ETH) or equivalent training
• 2-8 years of experience in product development / design of devices and modules with mechatronic, thermal and fluidic functions
• Very good CAD knowledge, ideally in several systems
• Broad experience in the selection of suitable manufacturing processes in the areas of sheet metal construction, plastic parts and cast parts with regard to cost, quantity and function
• High service, customer and result orientation
• Prudent, structured and independent way of working
• Business fluent German in spoken and written form and good language skills in English
