Description
Do you have experience in quality assurance with NC and CAPA? Are you available immediately for a contract opportunity? If this suits you and you are purpose-driven, join the Quality team at SOPHiA GENETICS as a Quality Associate, and allow us to have a positive impact on outcomes for cancer and rare disease patients worldwide.
This is a contract opportunity until 31/05/2027. This position is hybrid, and you can expect to be in our offices in Rolle at least 3 days per week.
Our mission
We believe there is a smarter, more data-driven way to make healthcare decisions, and our SOPHiA DDM platform, cloud-native and AI-powered, realizes this vision every day. You will participate directly in our mission to democratize data-driven medicine for the ultimate benefit of cancer and rare disease patients across the world.
Your mission
As a member of our Quality team, this role supports the team during periods of absence and increased workload, by taking charge of the management of Non-Conformities (NC), Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA), and the Change Control Process (CCP).
The value you bring:
• * Perform continuous reviews of open and historical NCs to bridge gaps and ensure we are audit-ready before our next inspection
• * Manage CAPAs end-to-end - from root cause analysis to implementation and effectiveness verification
• * Support Change Control Process (CCP) activities, ensuring that changes are correctly assessed, documented, and approved before implementation
• * Collaborate with cross-functional teams - supply chain, procurement, data science, and IT - to gather evidence, document compliance, and close actions on time
• * Proactively identify emerging non-conformities, assess risks, and recommend appropriate corrective actions
• * Maintain accurate and audit-ready records in Veeva and Jira throughout quality processes
• Requirements
To maximize your chances of success, we expect from you:
• * Practical knowledge of CAPA, NC, CCP processes and other quality documents
• * Direct experience in a Quality Control / Quality Assurance function is essential, ideally in a similar scientific, medical, or pharmaceutical environment
• * Experience with ISO 9001 and ISO 13485 standards
• * Experience with ticketing and document management systems is essential, ideally Veeva & JIRA
• * You will bring a commercial and facilitating approach, providing guidance on compliance rather than rigidly enforcing rules
• * As an international organization, English is our primary business language, and you must be fluent (both written and oral) to be eligible
• * You will join an organization that places the patient at the heart of every decision and action, purpose-driven as we pursue exponential growth.
• *As part of your recruitment process, you should expect to meet English-speaking interlocutors only. To maximize your chances of success, please include your CV in English. Unfortunately, non-English CVs have a high probability of being rejected at the application stage.*

You will join an organization that places the patient at the heart of every decision and action, purpose-driven as we pursue exponential growth.
