At Ucliva, it is not just about carrying plates and taking orders. We want our guests to feel welcome and well looked after – uncomplicated, personal, and with genuine hospitality.

For this, we are looking for a person who enjoys working with people, thinks ahead, and wants to be part of a small team.

What you do with us

You accompany our guests through the day – at breakfast, at lunch, or in the evening in the restaurant. You advise them on the selection of food and drinks, take care of attentive service, and have an eye for what is currently needed.

Your tasks also include mise en place, beverage and wine service, handling payments, as well as preparing and tidying up the restaurant. For groups, apéros, or events, you also lend a hand.

And because we are a small hotel, we help each other. With us, one's own task does not always end at the door to the next area.

Who we are looking for

You are warm and attentive, without appearing artificial. You enjoy working independently, are reliable, and keep an overview even on lively days.

You see when something needs to be done and do not wait for every single step to be explained to you. At the same time, it is important to you that people treat each other with respect in the team and support one another.

Experience in service is nice and of course an advantage. However, even more important to us are your attitude, your reliability, and the joy of being a host.

Good German skills are a prerequisite. Other languages are of course welcome among our guests.

Working at Ucliva

We are a small, personally managed hotel in the middle of the Surselva. With us, people know each other, talk to one another, and share responsibility.

We work professionally, but without unnecessary formality. We like people who bring their personality, take responsibility, and can also have a laugh.

Because for us, good hospitality is not created through rehearsed phrases, but by people being happy to be there for people.
