Activities

• Welding of heavy plates with 30–50 mm material thickness
• Execution of fillet welds and V-welds
• Welding in various positions, especially overhead
• Working according to technical drawings and welding procedure specifications (WPS)
• Ensuring high welding quality and dimensional accuracy
• Preparation, inspection and post-processing of weld seams

Requirements

• Several years of professional experience as a welder
• Very good experience in heavy plate welding
• Experience with high-strength steels
• Confident mastery of fillet weld, V-weld and overhead welding
• Good knowledge in reading technical drawings
• Independent and careful way of working
• Quality awareness and reliability
• Valid welding certificates are an advantage
