Your impact

Main function:

As a member of the FP&A team, the Senior Financial Analyst will collaborate to drive Abbott's EPD finances by managing the planning process and generating analyses on our markets and subsidiaries. He/She will be responsible for the quality and timeliness of financial reports / submissions, lead ad hoc financial analyses, and play an active role in maintaining and improving FP&A processes.

Main responsibilities:

• Analyze financial data and lead the EPD planning process
• Organize data into accessible reports and perform various types of analyses using key indicators / Prepare periodic management reports
• Play a key role in the preparation of the RLBE
• Provide financial models and forecasts.

Responsibilities and scope of the position:

• Lead the EPD planning process, including the preparation of guidelines and tools, actively communicate with key stakeholders, and anticipate challenges / opportunities
• Lead specific financial reports (such as EPD vs Market, Pricing, Investor Relations, and Board of Directors), generating analyses for clients
• Consolidate and analyze financial data, ensuring the accurate and timely submission of management files and business models
• Prepare financial models and generate ad hoc analyses according to management needs, ensuring the reliability and accuracy of the financial information provided
• Identify and drive process improvements, including the creation and continuous improvement of standard reports / tools

Minimum education:

• Bachelor's degree in finance, business administration, accounting, or equivalent. An MBA is an asset

Job requirements:

• 3 to 5 years of experience in corporate finance, financial planning and analysis, or related fields. Excellent analytical skills and good numerical reasoning
• Good proficiency in Excel
• Ability to communicate effectively and influence in a matrix organization and at the management level
• Great attention to detail and accuracy with a keen sense of meeting deadlines
• Critical thinker, highly collaborative and able to work cross-functionally
• Efficient and autonomous work style
• Very good proficiency in written and spoken English
