Behind every intervention of the Vaudois firefighters, there is reliable material, equipment thought out in the smallest details, and flawless logistics. This is where our team at the technical and logistics center of Romanel-sur-Lausanne comes in.

To strengthen our Fire Defense and Rescue Division, we are looking for our future:

SDIS Technical and Logistics Project Manager at 80-100%

Within a versatile and passionate team, you will supervise projects related to material, equipment, and vehicles in the firefighter field: analysis of business needs and proposal of adapted solutions.

What awaits you if you join us?

Your main role is to ensure the smooth running of projects while guaranteeing optimal management of data and IT tools:

• You ensure the coordination of actions between partners and stakeholders while respecting deadlines, budget, and quality requirements.
• You actively contribute to cross-functional projects
• You ensure the monitoring, control, and preventive and corrective maintenance of material, and provide continuous training to the SDIS logistics managers on new equipment
• You collaborate with the different SDIS and propose improvements
• You perform statistical analyses on material flows and maintain dashboards
• You assist the head of the SDIS Technical and Logistics entity and ensure their substitution in all their areas of activity

Your profile:

If you hold a higher education qualification completed by a specialization in project management, you are our ideal profile! As our Establishment is active in protecting and insuring the entire population of the Canton of Vaud, your excellent writing skills in French are indispensable.

Your major assets? Proven experience in project management, a good knowledge of the firefighter environment as well as the canton of Vaud and its institutions. Your interpersonal skills, your logical thinking, and your autonomy are also required to take charge of this function.

Experience in operating an ERP, database management, and personnel management are assets, as well as a strong interest in new technologies. You will be required to participate in on-call services and to work occasionally outside standard hours. You are also willing to obtain the C1 118 permit as well as the SUVA forklift certification if you do not already possess them
