Quality Engineer (m/f/d), 80-100%

This is your job

• Independent processing, analysis, and consistent advancement of internal and external quality cases as well as cross-departmental quality projects
• Conducting structured root cause analyses and developing sustainable solutions using methods such as 8D, 5-Why, Ishikawa, and Root Cause Analysis
• Further developing, harmonizing, and implementing cross-site quality assurance processes and quality standards
• Analyzing existing processes as well as initiating and implementing improvements in quality assurance and quality control
• Supporting production areas in stabilizing processes, reducing quality costs, and avoiding repeat errors
• Further developing the KPI system for evaluating quality performance, early detection of deviations, and monitoring ongoing measures; mapping and continuously optimizing processes, interfaces, and responsibilities within the quality management system
• Close cooperation with production sites in Switzerland, Czech Republic, and China as well as with Claim Management, Production, Development, and Procurement
• Planning and conducting internal quality and process audits as well as consistently following up on corrective and preventive actions until effectiveness is proven

What you bring with you

• Completed technical studies at least at Bachelor FH or University level, preferably in mechanical engineering, process engineering, materials science, production technology, or a comparable field
• Further training in quality management, e.g., CAS or MAS, is an advantage
• Several years of practical experience in quality management or quality engineering, preferably in an industrial production environment with a high level of vertical integration
• Sound knowledge of systematic problem-solving and quality methods, e.g., 8D, FMEA, SPC, MSA, 5-Why, or Ishikawa
• Experience in the improvement and sustainable implementation of quality and production processes
• Strong analytical, conceptual, and interdisciplinary thinking skills as well as high technical problem-solving competence
• Assertive and communicative personality with an independent, structured, and result-oriented way of working
• Experience in leading cross-departmental projects and dealing with different stakeholders
• Very good German and English skills, both written and spoken
• Good knowledge of ISO 9001 as well as experience with internal or external audits
