Head of Asset Management Group Waste Incineration Plant With around 1'000 employees, ERZ is one of the largest service departments of the City of Zürich and operates in an exciting environment at the pulse of the times. Tasks You lead the Asset Management group with a total of 7 employees personally as well as professionally and are responsible for the strategic further development of the plants and assets of our KVA. You develop renewal and new construction strategies and drive the continuous further development of our assets. You lead demanding investment and optimization projects, evaluate new technologies, and develop sustainable solutions taking into account technical, economic, ecological, and legal requirements. You support operations during commissioning and with technical questions, analyze operational as well as plant data, prepare expert opinions as well as sound decision-making bases, and support the KVA operation for approx. 8 weeks per year in on-call service. You ensure compliance with environmental, safety, and quality standards, are responsible for technical documentation, and participate in cross-departmental projects. Profile University degree (FH/Uni/ETH) in process / environmental engineering or a comparable engineering discipline as well as ideally further training in business administration Several years of professional experience in the operation or construction of process production plants, ideally in the area of combustion and flue gas cleaning, as well as several years of leadership experience Experience in leading complex technical projects as well as enjoyment in strategically developing plants and successfully implementing innovations. Strong technical and business understanding, structured way of working, as well as the ability to unite different interests and make sound decisions Very good German skills (level C2), high personal responsibility, as well as clear communication when dealing with internal and external stakeholders.
