Electrical Technician Drafter Designer

As part of the development of our client's activities, a Technician Drafter Designer to join and participate in the design and realization of industrial projects in demanding environments.

Your responsibilities

You will work on industrial automated installation projects and are notably responsible for:

• Studying and designing industrial automated installations, from the search for solutions to the choice of automation components and the design of electrical cabinets.
• Elaborating the technical documentation of the projects:
• manufacturing plans for apparatus assemblies;
• detailed electrical diagrams;
• bills of materials;
• I/O lists;
• cable lists and other technical documents.
• Providing technical support during testing and validations in the workshop.
• Participating, according to your skills and experience, in the commissioning of installations in French-speaking Switzerland.
• Progressively evolving towards complementary responsibilities, such as:
• technical support to project managers;
• preparation of cost estimates and offers;
• project management and monitoring;
• development of a technical specialization after training, for example in the ATEX field.

Your profile

• CFC, ES, HES training in the field of electricity, automation, or training deemed equivalent.
• Minimum 5 years of confirmed experience in an EAI design office, with indispensable practical field experience in an industrial environment.
• Very good mastery of electrical CAD software, ideally EPLAN P8.
• Good mastery of IT tools, notably MS Office, as well as project monitoring tools.
• Experience in the pharmaceutical, chemical, or biotechnological sectors constitutes a real asset.
• Mastery of French and good knowledge of English or German indispensable.
• Analytical mind, autonomy, rigor and taste for complex technical projects.
• Team spirit and ease in exchanges with the different stakeholders of a project.
