HEIZWERKFÜHRER (m/w/d) The Verein für Abfallentsorgung (www.vfa-buchs.ch) operates the Kehrichtverbrennungs anlage and deals with the environmentally friendly treatment and sensible utilization of waste. The heat generated from this process is used to produce Ferndampf, Fernwärme and electricity, helping to ensure the regional energy supply. Your challenge: The uninterrupted, efficient operation of the complex facility is of decisive importance. Together with your colleagues, you ensure the continuous thermal utilization of waste/materials and thus guarantee the reliable regional energy supply for our customers. You are willing to work in shift operation and undergo specialized further training. What you bring: You have a technical education, ideally in mechanics or electrical engineering, and are between 30 and 40 years old. A high sense of responsibility, a careful approach to work, and pronounced team skills are required. Experience with the operation of industrial plants is helpful. Prospects: After a thorough induction during shift operation, you will take on increasingly more responsibility. The expanded tasks in the facility include commissioning and decommissioning, as well as maintenance, servicing, and cleaning work. You will complete your training as a Heizwerkführer after about three years with the eidgenössische Prüfung. To be able to take over the position of a Heizwerkführer at a given time, a high degree of personal responsibility, willingness to work, and resilience are necessary.
