Your contribution

• Conduct of proceedings in often complex and/or high-profile legal assistance proceedings
• Ordering of evidence collection measures, compulsory measures (including representation before the compulsory measures court) as well as legal assistance-based confiscation of proceeds from crimes
• Issuing of interlocutory and final decisions in legal assistance proceedings
• Representation of the Bundesanwaltschaft in appeal proceedings concerning the granting and scope of legal assistance before the Bundesstrafgericht and the Bundesgericht
• Coordination of legal assistance proceedings with related national criminal proceedings

What makes you unique

• University degree in law as well as knowledge of criminal and criminal procedure law; attorney admission (Anwaltspatent) is an advantage
• Several years of practical experience in a similar role at a public prosecutor's office or at a court
• Proficiency in the areas of business and information technology
• Sound knowledge of criminal proceedings (especially in the area of compulsory measures) and mastery of administrative procedure
• High level of initiative, analytical skills and diplomatic skill, cross-departmental thinking, versatility as well as openness
• Very good knowledge of two official languages and English

In a nutshell

In this role, you will conduct international legal assistance proceedings, in which you collect evidence and identify, seize and collect assets obtained through crime via legal assistance. Your area of responsibility covers all competence areas of the BA, from terrorism to stock market offenses to international corruption. Furthermore, there is the possibility that you will occasionally support criminal proceedings in the area of terrorism, cybercrime and international criminal law.
