Your contribution

• Perform maintenance, restoration, modification, and inspection work on all aircraft armament equipment and systems
• Prepare aircraft armament and troubleshoot any faults in the armament systems
• Perform tasks related to flight service, ensuring flight readiness, performing intermediate checks, and providing system restoration
• Ensure the supply and testing of ammunition for all types of aircraft
• Ensure the maintenance of systems, instruments, and testing equipment

What distinguishes you

• A complete professional training in the technical/mechanical field (CFC) and/or knowledge of the armament technologies sector is an advantage; generalist profile with professional experience and interest in aviation
• Category B driving license required; category C and E driving licenses are an advantage; good IT skills (MS Office / SAP) are desired
• Responsible, autonomous, precise way of working, and oriented towards the team and the customer
• Good psychophysical resilience; a positive outcome of the security clearance regarding persons is a prerequisite
• Knowledge of a second official language and good knowledge of English (level B1) are desired

The Operations Command (Cdo Op) is responsible for all operations and all military deployments of the Swiss Army. It includes, among others, the Air Force, the Land Forces, the four territorial divisions, the SWISSINT competence center, the special forces command, and the military police. Approximately 40 percent of the nearly 2500 employees are civilian employees: from engineers to aircraft mechanics to analysts.

The Swiss Army employs over 9000 employees within the framework of four military professions and approximately 200 civilian professions, in 110 locations throughout the national territory. Furthermore, it provides for new recruits, training apprentices in over 30 professions.
