L-EOC, the multisite hospital of Ticino, is present with its institutes throughout the entire cantonal territory for a total of 1-000 beds. The organization allows for the effective combination of a local approach and a global vision, guaranteeing the population a global and local hospital offering, regardless of where services are required.

Thanks to the commitment and competence of over 6-500 collaborators and their attention toward human relationships, L-EOC ensures quality healthcare by taking care of over 41'000 inpatient patients per year and providing over 600'000 outpatient consultations.

To complete the Dermatology Service at the Mendrisio and/or Bellinzona location, we are looking for a

Chief Medical Officer (50-100%)

Profile:

The person we are looking for possesses professional experience and autonomy, as well as motivation, initiative, and a spirit of collaboration. Like us, they believe in the importance of putting the patient and their family at the center of all our attention. Capable of conveying their opinion to young colleagues and medical students of the Medical Master School of the Università della Svizzera Italiana (USI).

Necessary requirements:

• Degree/diploma in medicine;
• Specialization diploma in dermatology;
• In the case of foreign titles, mandatory recognition by the Federal Commission for Medical Professions MEBEKO and relative registration in MedReg (https://www.medregom.admin.ch) is required before the start of activity;
• Proven knowledge of the Italian language (required level at least B2), desired knowledge of another national language and English with relative registration in MedReg (https://www.medregom.admin.ch) before the start of activity;
• Preference will be given to candidates with solid and proven experience
• Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills;
• Availability/flexibility to work at multiple EOC locations;
• Involvement in the training of USI medical students
