As part of its development, this Genevan public community is looking for a Financial Manager to manage financial activities and support the Management in its strategic decisions.
Your tasks at your new employer
Manage all financial activities and ensure the smooth running of the department
Develop and monitor budgets, financial plans as well as investments
Supervise accounting, closings and financial reporting
Advise the Management and the various managers on financial issues
Ensure the monitoring of the main financial files and contribute to strategic decision-making
Supervise and support a small team
You offer your new employer
A higher education in finance, accounting, economics or equivalent
Proven experience in a responsible financial function, ideally in the public sector or within a fiduciary
Holding a Brevet fédéral de spécialiste finance et comptabilité is an asset
Initial management experience
An excellent mastery of financial and analytical accounting as well as management tools
Good knowledge of the Genevan environment
An analytical, structured and rigorous spirit, as well as an interest in public issues
