Our experienced employees in operations management control the plant around the clock and ensure the trouble-free operation of the power plant. Take the opportunity and start your multi-year training as an on-call engineer with us.

What awaits you: ##

• A systematic further education from plant or reactor operator via shift supervisor to on-call engineer. The further education in the operation of the plant includes both technical content and leadership competencies. It takes place internally in the Training department and at the own simulator, as well as externally at the Nukleartechnikerschule in Baden (http://www.kernenergie.ch/).
• As an on-call engineer, you will be called in by the shift manager when the plant behavior deviates from the normal state and will provide situational support with your expertise.
• In your function as an on-call engineer, you will regularly participate in further education courses as well as diverse simulator trainings and simultaneously take on responsibility in a technical specialist area.

What characterizes you: ##

• You have successfully completed a university of applied sciences degree in the field of electrical or mechanical engineering or an engineering degree at a technical university.
• You are characterized by your willingness for intensive initial and further training. The ideal entry age is between 25 and 35 years.
• You manage challenging, new, and changing situations thoughtfully, flexibly, and expertly.
• You are a team player, but also skillfully take the lead and lead as well as accompany your team professionally in both normal and special situations.
• You appreciate the advantages of shift work (3-shift operation) during the training and the willingness for irregular working hours and on-call duties (incl. night and weekend services).
• Language skills: Excellent German skills in spoken and written form are mandatory, English skills are an advantage.
