The Fondation Vieillesse in Herisau is the home of more than 250 elderly people. In the three sites Heinrichsbad, Ebnet and Dreilinden, approximately 260 employees participate daily in our houses. They ensure a high quality of life for the residents and thus make a valuable contribution to society. In the Ebnet house, in the heart of Herisau, there are 48 rooms or apartments spread over three floors. The proximity to the village center allows for many relationships inside and outside the house.

Do you commit yourself to a high quality of support and care, live a respectful collaboration, and actively involve yourself in interdisciplinary collaboration? Then we are looking for you for the Ebnet site as:

Your demanding and varied tasks:

• You assume responsibility for the professional and personnel management of a team of approximately 29 employees.
• With your team, you ensure that approximately 45 residents feel safe, well, and at home. You thus guarantee professional care and a high quality of care.
• You lead and support your team in daily care, are present as a contact person, and occasionally participate actively in daily care.
• You maintain a respectful collaboration and are the contact person for relatives, internal and external specialized services, as well as for the hospitality department.
• You bring your ideas and experiences and contribute actively to the development of our family-style residential sector.

Our requirements:

• You have completed training as a registered nurse HF or an equivalent training recognized in Switzerland.
• You have experience in long-term care, know the RAI LTCF instrument, and master the use of IT tools.
• You have solid management experience and wish to assume responsibility for a team in the future. Until the retirement of the current team leader at the end of 2027, we will ensure a progressive and complete introduction.
• You work independently, reliably, and maintain an overview even in demanding situations.
• You approach elderly people with respect and empathy and convince with your team spirit, openness, and a positive attitude.
