The OENT of the SPCH has the role of ensuring the viability and sustainability of the road network of the canton of Neuchâtel, guaranteeing and improving the safety of users, as well as planning and executing development works and heavy maintenance of roads.

Your missions
As part of your function within the maintenance division 2 of the OENT, you perform, as part of a team, various road works such as the maintenance of roads and green spaces, snow removal and salting of roads during the winter period as well as small civil engineering and masonry works.
You also contribute to the maintenance of watercourses by intervening on their banks and on the structures located there.
Other missions may complete your activity, notably the maintenance and works around the buildings used by the service.

Your profile
You have experience in maintenance work related to green spaces or civil engineering. Mastery of driving heavy vehicles constitutes an advantage.
You enjoy outdoor activities and demonstrate a real team spirit, while adapting to variable schedules, especially during the winter period.
Comfortable with the requirements of an on-call service (service de piquet), you know how to make decisions when necessary. Good physical condition is indispensable, with a medical examination planned before your engagement.
You possess driving licenses B or BE, which you ideally complement with the heavy goods vehicle license C or CE. Failing this, you are motivated to obtain the latter during employment, with financial participation from the service.
Your residence is located near the workplace, allowing you to intervene quickly if needed.
