Technical Building Operator

Background:
The "Operate Buildings" area at the Basel and Kaiseraugst locations is responsible for ensuring the energy and media supply, ensuring building operations, and providing services in the maintenance area. The Technical Building Operations team ensures the reliable, regulatory-compliant, and cost-conscious operation of the building technology systems.

Tasks & Responsibilities:

• Ensuring the availability of the technical building equipment, as well as regulatory-compliant and economical plant operation throughout the entire useful life of the buildings
• Responsibility for technical building and plant inspections, fault rectification, maintenance, and continuous plant optimization (energy, costs)
• Responsibility for third-party company supervision as well as GMP-compliant documentation
• Performing on-call service and participating in various exciting projects
• Using expertise to effect change and benefiting from expertise in other areas through cooperation
• Ensuring information exchange within the specialist departments and participating proactively and independently in self-organized teams.

Must Haves:

• Completed technical vocational training in the field of building technology (automation technician, ventilation fitter), ideally a maintenance specialist
• Min. 3 years of professional experience in the operation and maintenance of technical building equipment
• Basic knowledge of IT applications (Office, SAP, etc.)
• Fluent German skills in speaking and writing
• Independence and a proactive way of working
• Team orientation and willingness to cooperate
• Problem-solving ability and decisiveness
• High sense of responsibility

Nice to Have:

• GMP knowledge
• Further training as an IH specialist
• Several years of professional experience in the operation and maintenance of technical building equipment
• Ideally English skills
