Attached to the l-Ordre judiciaire vaudois, the Tribunal des mineurs investigates offenses committed by minors and pronounces sentences. It is also in charge of the execution of sentences by minors.
In order to complete its team, the Tribunal des mineurs, which employs nearly 50 magistrat·e·s and collaborateur·trice·s, is looking for a Clerk.
Responsibilities ##
• Assist the presidents of the Tribunal during hearings.
• Analyze files, carry out all useful research, particularly legal research, allowing for the preparation of the hearing and writing activities.
• Maintain the minutes of hearings and prepare draft judicial decisions by writing the statement of facts and ensuring that all legal arguments are addressed (on the basis of notes or instructions).
• Perform corrections made by the President in charge of the file and ensure the neatness of the original decision as well as its finalization.
• Participate in case management (mail, monitoring deadlines, telephones, etc.) and carry out legal research.
• Inform the parties and their counsel, judicial and administrative authorities, as well as any other interlocutor who can justify a legitimate interest, about the various procedures.
