• 16 July 2026 • 100% • Indefinite duration • German (Fluent), English (Fluent), French (Fluent) • Route des Barzettes 1, 3963 Crans-Montana 1 • Log in to see the jobup.ch salary estimate As part of the development of its services, the company Crans-Montana Food and Beverage SA, is looking for : Senior Communication and Public Relations Specialist (M/F) at 100%, CDI ## YOUR MISSIONS : • Act as a spokesperson for the Crans-Montana and Andermatt-Sedrun ski resorts, as needed • Manage the external communication of the resorts, including crisis management and sensitive situations, by mitigating and minimizing risks • Develop a strategic and proactive communication and media relations plan to promote the resorts to customers and obtain wide and targeted media coverage • Develop and execute thoughtful and impactful media relations strategies • Evaluate, manage, and execute the hosting of media and influencers in the resorts, including itinerary creation, editorial angle design, on-site hosting, and creating media moments to obtain media coverage • Develop media tools, including press releases, fact sheets, talking points, scripts, and coverage tracking • Build and maintain essential relationships with general managers and resort leadership teams, serve as a key communication resource for them, and develop strategic messages to serve their internal and external objectives • Use strong storytelling skills to bring the resort brand to life across a variety of platforms and media • Be on the front line in managing issues and satisfying the needs of various stakeholders • Oversee all social media channels of the resorts, leading a team to develop a content production calendar, produce and share authentic and engaging content, and conduct effective community management • Manage relationships with external service providers, contracts, and deliverables • Manage the communication budgets of the resorts • Build relationships with internal and external stakeholders throughout the region • Lead the Crans-Montana and Andermatt-Sedrun Communication team by creating a positive and proactive working environment • Work closely with the Destination team and the entire Vail Resorts Communications team, as well as resort Marketing, to ensure effective implementation of strategies YOUR PROFILE : • Bachelor's in journalism, communications, public relations, or marketing • More than 7 years of experience in an external communication or public relations role • On-site presence required at the Crans-Montana ski resort, especially during the ski and slide season • Strong leader and manager, driven by a desire to develop talent • Excellent writer capable of writing nuanced communications on a variety of subjects • Develops strategic and innovative ideas and thoughts • Capable of executing several overlapping projects simultaneously without difficulty • Autonomous person capable of making decisions despite an sometimes uncertain context and adapting strategy in response to new information • Result-oriented, moves things forward, and conveys an ability to create the necessary momentum • Experience with all forms of external communication channels, particularly media and social networks • Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills, including the ability to work with people from various cultures and fields • Possesses a strong team spirit and is oriented towards collective success • Travel may be required • Language proficiency: English and French, German.
