Production Controller / Senior Operations Controller (m/w/d) SPT AG – Location Lyss The SPT Gruppe is an internationally active, medium-sized group of companies with more than 1,000 employees and locations in Switzerland and Asia. For our production site in Lyss, we are looking for an experienced individual as a Production Controller / Senior Operations Controller (m/w/d). You will report directly to the Head of Corporate Finance and work closely with the local management. As a financial sparring partner, you will combine sound analyses with a strong understanding of our operational production processes and derive concrete recommendations for action from them. Your tasks Responsibility for production and cost controlling, including manufacturing costs, calculations, variance analyses, and relevant production KPIs Analysis of operational production processes and derivation of concrete measures to improve costs, productivity, and profitability R&D controlling, in particular financial support and evaluation of self-developed and manufactured production equipment Financial management of project business, including project controlling and post-calculations Monitoring and analysis of inventories and stock development as well as derivation of optimization measures Carrying out make-or-buy, investment, and economic efficiency analyses along the value chain, particularly in connection with internal tool and plant construction Responsibility for budget, forecast, and management reporting, as well as being a sparring partner for the local management in operational and strategic decisions Establishment of a multi-stage contribution margin calculation as well as the continuous monitoring of product margins/contribution margins Further development of controlling processes and instruments as well as ensuring high data quality Your profile Degree or comparable training with a focus on controlling, finance, business administration, or industrial engineering Several years of experience in production/plant controlling of a manufacturing industrial company Sound knowledge in cost accounting, product calculation, as well as project and investment controlling Strong understanding of operational production processes and value chains as well as the ability to translate financial and operational analyses into concrete recommendations for action Entrepreneurial thinking, strong hands-on mentality, and an independent, structured way of working Good communication and presentation skills as well as enjoyment of working with production, R&D, and management Very good Excel and ERP knowledge; experience with proALPHA is an advantage, but not a requirement Very good German and good English skills What awaits you with us: A versatile controlling role with responsibility for production, R&D, inventories, and project business Direct reporting line to the Head of Corporate Finance and close cooperation with the local management An active role as a business partner with immediate influence on operational and economic decisions High degree of creative freedom in an internationally active, medium-sized industrial company with short decision-making paths Assumption of 60% of the pension fund, various other benefits Ready for the next step?
