Ref 2580027 | Date: 21 Sept 2026 Federal Administration Scientific Associate for the reporting on the state of the environment Ittigen, Switzerland (and work from home) | 40-40% What you can contribute * Coordinate the design and implementation of monitoring mechanisms relating to the content and organization of the reporting on the state of the environment as well as its communication * Ensure the synchronization of needs and activities relating to the reporting on the state of the environment with other actors at national and international levels * Shape and manage the OFEV reports on the environment * Design and publish the Federal Council's report on the environment * Prepare, coordinate and steer research projects and mandates awarded to third parties What makes you unique * Master's in the field of natural sciences as well as knowledge in communication, or training deemed equivalent * Several years of experience in the field of reporting on the state of the environment and data analysis (data science), very good writing skills in the mother tongue and experience in collaborating with authorities * Good knowledge of environmental data as well as their application and communication regarding them * Good knowledge of environmental policy * Good active knowledge of at least a second official language and, if possible, knowledge of a third official language In a few words Thanks to your skills in reporting, communication and environmental policy, you enable the OFEV to establish correct, complete and detailed reports.
