Scope of responsibility ###

• Overall responsibility: Responsibility for the vocational training of apprentices in German- and French-speaking Switzerland
• Strategic further development: Further development of the training strategy as well as introduction of new impulses for a modern and future-oriented learning culture
• Recruitment & Employer Branding: Acquisition of new apprentices and strengthening the employer attractiveness of OTTO'S as a training company
• Support for apprentices: Supervision, promotion, and support of apprentices during the entire training period
• Support for vocational trainers: Coaching, consulting, and empowering vocational trainers in the branches and specialized departments of logistics and central administration
• Quality assurance: Ensuring administration as well as compliance with and further development of high quality standards
• Deputization: Full-scale deputization of the Head of Training as well as active participation in the further development of the training and vocational education area

Profile ###

• Education: Completed basic training with further training in the field of HR, vocational training or business administration
• Professional experience: Several years of experience in vocational training in retail as well as in the establishment and further development of training structures
• Skills: Affinity for digital media as well as learning platforms as well as good knowledge of the Swiss educational landscape
• Language skills: Very good German and French skills
