The Cereals, Oilseeds, Feed business unit of the fenaco Genossenschaft is the most competent and capable partner in Switzerland for the trade of raw products for food and animal feed production. To strengthen our organic trading team, we are looking for a Trader Organic Raw Materials at the Winterthur or Kiefersfelden (Germany) location, effective immediately or by arrangement. In this versatile trading function, you will take responsibility for the procurement and marketing of organic cereals, organic oilseeds, and feed, with a focus on foreign markets.

These tasks will inspire you

• Active support and further development of customer relationships in the European market
• Acquisition and maintenance of suppliers and business partners in Switzerland and Europe
• Procurement and sale of the assigned organic raw materials as well as marketing of the Swiss organic harvest from the MAXI system
• Market observation, analysis of supply and demand, and identification of new market opportunities
• Responsibility for turnover, margin, and result (P&L) within the assigned portfolio
• Conducting sales and price negotiations
• Quantity, sales, and sales planning
• Recording and managing purchase and sales contracts as well as cooperation with processing
• Participation in projects and working groups surrounding the organic market

We look forward to this profile

• Education and/or corresponding further training in the agricultural, food, or trading environment
• Several years of experience in trade, purchasing, sales, or the marketing of agricultural raw materials
• Sound knowledge of organic farming and its market structures
• Existing and reliable network to producers, industry organizations, or processors
• Strong negotiation skills as well as entrepreneurial thinking and action
• Independent, structured, and solution-oriented way of working
• Very good German skills as well as good French and English skills
• Experience in contract trading as well as knowledge of Incoterms and commercial practices
