The Stiftung «Les Buissonnets» has been caring for children and adults with severe disabilities for over 50 years in two special boarding schools, in a residential and working area for adults (Home Atelier), in the Physio-Ergo service, as well as in the outpatient special education service of the Canton of Fribourg.

Due to the upcoming retirement of the Director of the Schulheim (SH), we are looking for a:

Director of the Schulheim (SH) at 90% * #

Your mission:

• Operational and pedagogo-therapeutic management of a special school and a residential area for children and adolescents aged 4 to 18 with disabilities
• Responsibility for the human, financial, and material resources of the SH in collaboration with the General Secretariat of the Stiftung Les Buissonnets
• Responsibility for teaching and the pedagogical and therapeutic activities of the SH (organization of classes, distribution of students, monitoring of students, etc.)
• Ensuring communication with internal and external partners and stakeholders of the SH,

in collaboration with the General Secretariat of the Fondation Les Buissonnets

• As a member of the Buissonnets Board of Directors, participate in the development and implementation of the strategy of the Fondation Les Buissonnets and the SH, in collaboration with the Foundation and its other institutions

Profile sought:

• University degree in the field of special education or a title deemed equivalent
• CAS/DAS in management of social institutions
• At least five years of experience in special education teaching
• Solid experience in management, project management, personnel leadership, and financial management (planning, budget, etc.)
• Excellent social and communication skills, ability to manage complex situations
• Innovative spirit, ability to participate in the strategy of the Foundation and the SH, in collaboration with the Foundation and its other institutions
• German native language, with excellent knowledge of the French language (min. level B2)

Start date: 1 September 2027 or by agreement
