On behalf of the État du Valais, we are looking for a

Technical Collaborator All/Fr 80-100% CDD (M/F/D)

Responsibilities

• Prepare, present and ensure the follow-up of draft decisions as well as the keeping of minutes of meetings
• Ensure the notification of decisions, administrative follow-up and financial management of the processed files
• Monitor compliance with decisions rendered, carry out necessary findings on the ground and ensure the follow-up of prescribed measures
• Collaborate closely with State services, municipal administrations and advise municipalities in the field of construction
• Ensure the follow-up of information, denunciations and controls related to constructions in collaboration with the various authorities concerned
• Process requests for occupancy permits, verify the compliance of completed works and prepare the necessary reports as well as decisions
• Represent the Commission cantonale des constructions during local visits, technical meetings and encounters with cantonal and municipal authorities
• Instruct building permit files submitted to the Commission cantonale des constructions, from the public inquiry stage to the preparation of draft decisions

Profile

• Holder of an EPF/HES Architect diploma, a Federal Diploma of Works Director (building) or a CFC in Drafting architecture orientation, the building safety training certificate is an asset
• Proven experience in a position related to the processing of building permit files, architecture, works management or monitoring of construction sites
• Excellent command of German (C2 level) and basic knowledge of French (minimum A2)
• Excellent communication skills and ease in collaborating effectively with different partners and stakeholders
• Solid knowledge of the legislation applicable to constructions outside building zones, as well as an excellent capacity for analysis and control of construction and execution plans
• Proficiency in MS Office tools; knowledge of SAP is an asset
• Autonomous, rigorous and solution-oriented personality
