January 2027 or by arrangement as Clinic Director and Chief Physician (KAN), Member of the Executive Board 80-100% As part of the Clinic for Consult, Geriatric and Neuropsychiatry (Clinic Director Dr. med. ), the Center for Geriatric Psychiatry (Management Kristine Ewert, Dr. med. Wälder and ) fulfills a valuable mission for the mental health of elderly people and their relatives with its services. It has four specialized wards as well as two outpatient clinics with Memory Clinics at the locations Aarau and Windisch. In addition to consultation hours and advisory services for relatives, the outpatient sector includes the geriatric psychiatric consultation and liaison service for nursing homes. The center is a SIWF-recognized training center for psychiatry and psychotherapy, geriatric psychiatry, consultation and liaison psychiatry as well as general internal medicine. Profile Medical specialist diploma FMH for psychiatry and psychotherapy with subspecialty title geriatric psychiatry; subspecialty title in consultation and liaison psychiatry is an advantage Several years of leadership experience in a senior medical function as well as experience in managing training centers and training doctors and psychologists Entrepreneurial thinking and understanding of business management contexts; additional training in the field of management/business administration is desired Strong communication and cooperation skills as well as enjoyment of cross-disciplinary and interdisciplinary work Tasks You lead and develop the Clinic for Consult, Geriatric and Neuropsychiatry (KAN) with 220 employees professionally, organizationally, personally and entrepreneurially You are responsible for the development and compliance of diagnostic and therapeutic guidelines, quality assurance, further and continuing education as well as the clinic's budget You hold a seat on the Medical and Nursing Specialist Committee of the Executive Board and in the Quality Committee of the Board of Directors As a member of the Executive Board, you share the overall operational responsibility for the PDAG and participate in the entrepreneurial further development of the PDAG You represent the PDAG in cantonal and Swiss specialist committees and support the Marketing and Communication department in internal and external information work Benefits Our employees are the heart of our company.
