As part of a new position creation, we are looking for a:

Legal Counsel

You have solid experience in commercial contract law, particularly in distribution, commercial leases, construction, labor law, as well as competition law and data protection. The position is based within the Manufacture in Genève with regular travel to Bienne and will report to the Legal Manager of Harry Winston.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:

Legal advice and support

• Draft, review, and negotiate a wide variety of contracts as part of the daily activities of Harry Winston.
• Provide legal advice and training to the various divisions and affiliated companies of Harry Winston.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support company objectives.

Compliance and representation

• Ensure that the Company's activities comply with applicable local laws and regulations.
• Represent the Company's interests to local authorities.

International support and legal monitoring

• Provide support to the Legal Manager of Harry Winston regarding contracts and projects involving the United States and the United Kingdom.
• Conduct legal research and ensure monitoring of relevant legal and regulatory developments.

YOUR PROFILE:

• Master of Law (MLaw) or equivalent legal degree with Swiss law practice.
• Additional training or professional experience in an Anglo-Saxon legal environment is an asset.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience as an in-house legal counsel, ideally in the luxury/retail sector.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Very good writing and oral communication skills in English, German, and French.
• Ability to work independently with a sense of priorities.
• Excellent ability to thrive in demanding environments, absorb high volumes of activity, and demonstrate a high level of reactivity.
• Mastery of legal research and contractual negotiation.
• Rigor, precision, and a great sense of detail.
• Sense of confidentiality and great discretion.
• Team spirit and good interpersonal skills.
