Child and Adult Protection Authority of Grisons | 80-100 % | Samedan ##

The Child and Adult Protection Authority (KESB) is there for people in distress. Those who need help and support can count on the KESB. No two days are the same with us. In an interdisciplinary team, we actively build a secure future for vulnerable adults, families, children and young people.

For the KESB Grisons, Engadine/South Valleys branch, starting from 1 March 2027 or by agreement, we are looking for a jurist.

Your area of responsibility

• Support and advice to members of the authority as well as to support persons on substantive and formal legal issues (child and adult protection law, matrimonial and inheritance law, real estate transactions, insurance law, private international law)
• Autonomous processing of assigned files, in particular transactions requiring approval (art. 416 CC)
• Drafting of draft decisions in assigned files
• Secretariat activities for the authority
• Active participation in various project groups (e.g. implementation, legislative revisions)
• Drafting of minutes during hearings

What we expect from you

• University degree in law
• Professional experience, preferably in a law firm or at court, and solid knowledge of private law
• Autonomous, resilient, flexible personality capable of networked thinking
• Excellent oral and written expression in German, knowledge of Italian desired, proficiency in other foreign languages is an asset
• Careful, efficient and precise way of working
• Strong service orientation and team spirit in an interdisciplinary service
• Proven social skills and empathy towards people in difficult life situations
