We combine strong project business with an increasing product and operational business. The digitalization of processes and products is a cornerstone of our strategy. We are looking for you to operate our IT infrastructure reliably and efficiently and to support our employees in projects and everyday work:

• In this versatile role, you are the central contact person for a wide spectrum of IT topics. You move with the same ease between practical support in daily business and strategic IT topics.
• In the area of Office ICT, you are the first point of contact for all IT concerns of our employees: from the maintenance of workstations, networks, and peripheral devices to the solution of IT problems. You move confidently in heterogeneous environments with Linux and Windows systems.
• In the area of server landscape, you are responsible for the operation and further development of our infrastructure, both on-site and in the cloud, and ensure that it remains stable, secure, and up to date.
• An important part of this is our cloud infrastructure based on Kubernetes: You maintain and further develop our containerized applications, support deployment and scaling questions, and contribute to ensuring that our systems run robustly and efficiently.
• You support our team in on-call service and occasionally undertake maintenance work outside of regular working hours to ensure the smooth operation of our systems.

Your Profile

• You bring several years of experience in system administration (Linux and Windows) as well as in the operation of cloud and container infrastructures (ideally Kubernetes).
• You are used to dealing with both complex infrastructure topics and everyday support requests, and you like to switch between strategic and operational tasks.
• You are characterized by a strong service orientation and respond to the concerns of our employees in a friendly and solution-oriented manner. You work independently, tackle problems pragmatically, and maintain an overview even in hectic situations.
• You are interested in the topics that Meteotest handles, and you enjoy working with our specialists. You are a personality who likes to share their knowledge, can communicate well, and enjoys connecting people.
• You are willing to take responsibility as part of the on-call service as well as during maintenance work outside of regular working hours.
• You have completed training in the field of information technology (vocational training, university of applied sciences, or equivalent experience). You bring good German and English skills in spoken and written form.

Our working time models are flexible with attractive social benefits. We work in quiet office premises with plenty of space at our company headquarters in Bern. There is the possibility to work partially from home.
