Application Manager (f/m/d)

On behalf of our client based in Fribourg, we are looking for an Application Manager (f/m/d) responsible for ensuring the management, maintenance, and evolution of applications in the fields of training and cultural affairs.

Your mission

• Manage the support, maintenance, and lifecycle of applications, including evolutive and adaptive maintenance activities.
• Analyze needs and functional specifications with beneficiaries, then define the technical specifications necessary for their implementation.
• Drive software developments carried out with external partners, ensure the monitoring of suppliers, mandates, and contracts.
• Supervise current operations, ensure the deployment of new versions, and provide 3rd level application support.
• Advise users on application evolutions, maintain up-to-date documentation, and ensure the monitoring of operating budgets and expenses.

Your profile

• Higher education in IT at HES, University, EPF, federal certificate or diploma level, or training deemed equivalent, as well as confirmed experience in application management, with a minimum of 5 years of specific experience with a Master's or 7 years with a Bachelor's.
• Mastery of Jira Service Management, Jira and Confluence, as well as good knowledge of ITIL processes; ITIL certification considered an asset.
• Experience in supplier and contract management, software lifecycle management, and application delivery according to a Scrum methodology; Scrum certification and experience in software development constituting assets.
• Good knowledge of .NET, Java, Git, Azure DevOps, Tomcat, IIS, MS SQL Server, Windows Server, microservices and API environments, with excellent command of French, a strong sense of service, autonomy, good analytical skills, and an ability to collaborate with various interlocutors.
• Residence in Fribourg or surroundings.
