As a Support Technician, you are a central part of our technical customer support – and thus directly at the interface to our customers, dealers, and internal specialist departments. Your mission: To sustainably secure and further develop our service quality. Your main tasks Technical First-Level and Second-Level Support You process technical inquiries and problems from our customers, branches, and worldwide service partners – via telephone, e-mail, or via our central ticketing system (C4C). Remote Support You analyze malfunctions remotely, find solutions, and thus ensure a rapid restoration of plant availability. Worldwide assignments at the customer site You [travel] directly to our customers for installations, commissioning, troubleshooting, conversions, repairs, maintenance, or inspections on our machines. Traceable documentation You document every support case completely and ensure clean tracking until successful completion. Interface to development As a technical link, you pass valuable customer feedback on to our development and product teams. On-call service / Standby duty You also support the organization in standby duty and contribute to ensuring that our customers can count on us at all times. Your profile Completed technical or electrotechnical vocational training – ideally with a focus on mechanical engineering, mechatronics, or automation technology Several years of experience in international mechanical engineering or in a comparable technical customer service environment Sound knowledge in control and electrical engineering, preferably supplemented by experience in dealing with industrial control systems Good German and English skills in speaking and writing, other foreign languages are an advantage Independent, structured, and solution-oriented way of working, even under time pressure or in complex situations High willingness to travel (up to 50%) as well as enjoyment of intercultural cooperation and direct customer contact worldwide.
