Mechanic / Technical Staff E-Bike & Assembly (60–100 %)

Description Are you technically skilled, enjoy tinkering, and quickly understand how something works? Then you could be a good fit for us – even if you are not a trained bicycle mechanic. YouMo is a Swiss company in the E-Bike and Cargo-Bike sector. We assemble XCYC cargo bikes, repair various E-Bikes, and operate the repair and spare parts service for Go SwissDrive systems. To strengthen our team in Rapperswil-Jona, we are looking for a technically savvy and reliable personality, effective immediately or by arrangement. Responsibilities / Main tasks What awaits you with us • Repair and service of E-Bikes • Assembly and exchange of mechanical and electrical components • Installation and removal of motors and wheels • Assembly of XCYC cargo bikes, assemblies, and individual structures • Spoking and unspoking of wheels • Troubleshooting as well as quality and final control • Depending on experience and interest, you will also work your way step by step into more complex E-Bike systems and repairs. Qualifications / Requirements What you bring with you For us, it is not your exact professional qualification that is decisive, but your technical understanding and how you work. You should: • be technically and manually skilled • understand new processes quickly • work carefully and efficiently • proceed independently and in a structured manner • be reliable and able to work in a team • be able to handle computers and digital work systems confidently • have very good German skills • experience with bicycles or E-Bikes is an advantage, but not a requirement. Career changers from other technical fields are expressly welcome. ERP or Odoo knowledge is an advantage, but not a requirement. It is important that you feel confident in dealing with digital work processes.
