Senior Project Manager Software (a) for WMS / MFS Projects

Your tasks

• Management and coordination of software projects in the field of Warehouse Management System (WMS) / Material Flow Control (MFS) over the entire project lifecycle
• Analysis, optimization and consulting of our customers with regard to software processes in the logistics environment as well as their mapping in the Stöcklin WMS/MFS solutions
• Creation of software specifications and software design
• Technical responsibility for software integration in complex intralogistics projects
• Integration of software components and interfaces from internal and external suppliers
• Leading development teams as well as ensuring smooth implementation and commissioning of the systems
• Ensuring compliance with quality standards and project results
• Integration and handover of the project at the customer's site on-site

Your profile

• FH/HF degree in computer science, electrical engineering or a comparable qualification
• Several years of professional experience in managing software projects in the field of Warehouse Management System (WMS) or material flow systems (MFS)
• Experience in dealing with agile and classical project management methods
• Knowledge of industrial automation or plant engineering is an advantage
• Knowledge of software development and IT architectures
• Willingness to travel domestically and abroad
• Business fluent in German and English, any further language such as French or Spanish is an advantage
• Proactive, solution-oriented and team-oriented personality
• IPMA or PMP certification is an advantage
