The socio-pedagogical-psychiatric model ward SOMOSA offers an inpatient 6- to 12-month intensive treatment program for 14- to 18-year-old clients who are in a severe adolescent crisis. The aim of the treatment is to stabilize the clients' personalities to such an extent that they can succeed in the existing supportive or replacement socialization systems upon discharge.

As a recognized listed hospital in the field of child and adolescent psychiatry and as a youth home with a socio-pedagogical mandate, we fulfill both requirements through intersystemic cooperation, solidified by many years of experience, in the specialized fields of socio-pedagogy, nursing, psychotherapy, and work pedagogy.

Your area of responsibility ###

• Together with your colleagues on the night watch, you ensure the nightly rest of our clients in our residential groups. The two residential groups for male clients, each with 10 rooms, are combined at night; the residential group for female clients, with one group of 10 and one group of 4 rooms, is located in another building, a 5-minute walk from the main building.
• Thanks to your professional qualification and experience, you are able to convey security and competently assess delicate situations.
• If necessary, you act confidently and solution-oriented, notifying the on-call service in the house or also external support.
• When everything is quiet, in addition to regular rounds and security checks, you perform medication controls and other tasks assigned by the day service.
• When adolescents work externally, you wake them up in the morning and take care of them as far as necessary.
• Contact with the treatment team of the day services is maintained through the daily morning and evening reports.

What you bring to this ###

• Nursing professional HF, DN II or FH with a focus on psychiatry
• Experience in the adolescent psychiatric inpatient sector and / or in dealing with dissocial young men and women
• Desire and physical ability to work regularly at night
• PC knowledge: Word, Excel (pure application)
• You are at least 28 years old
