For our Steinhausen/ZG site, we are looking for a motion control engineer m/f/d 100% to complete our team of experts

Your future work content
In this role, you will develop and optimize innovative solutions for our high-precision machines. You will bring your technical know-how from design to successful commissioning and use modern technologies in a targeted manner to evolve our products and processes.

• Development and optimization of control systems for highly dynamic movements
• Design, dimensioning, commissioning, optimization, and qualification of mechatronic modules and mobile axes
• Use of the most modern AI and LLM technologies to support development, analysis, programming, testing, documentation, and innovation in the field of motion control
• Development and maintenance of configuration management for low-level motion and process software
• Providing technical expertise in the fields of mechatronics and motion control
• Integration of new sensors, devices, and hardware components as well as development of the pneumatic infrastructure
• Support for fault analysis in production, assembly, and at the customer's site
• Strategic collaboration with suppliers to evolve the technological roadmap
• Direction and coordination of technical sub-projects

What speaks for you
You are passionate about demanding motion control solutions and want to actively shape the future with AI? Then ideally you bring the following:

• Successful Master's in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, or mechatronics with specialization in control technology
• AI is for you a natural component of modern development and engineering processes
• Several years of practical experience in the professional use of AI technologies and AI-assisted engineering workflows
• In-depth experience in the development and control of mechatronic systems, particularly in the areas of sensing, actuation, and drive technology
• Excellent communication skills in German and English are indispensable
• Availability for occasional travel for missions in Europe and Asia
