Deputy Department Manager Production For our customer in the Dorneck region, an established company in the chemical-technical industry, we are looking for an experienced and committed personality as a deputy department manager (m/f/d) In this position, you will take on a central role in daily operations and support the management level in the organization, control, and further development of the department. You will ensure that workflows remain coordinated, processes interlock, and cooperation between the different areas functions smoothly. In addition, you will actively participate in the further development of structures and working methods and take on responsibility in a technically demanding production environment with a lot of creative freedom. Your tasks Technical leadership and support of employees as well as the shift teams including coaching and know-how transfer Deputizing for the department management in daily operational business Planning and coordination of resources (shift staffing, vacation planning, technician assignments) as well as support for production planning (AVOR) Participation in projects and optimization initiatives for the further development of processes Creation, updating, and communication of work instructions as well as conducting training Ensuring an efficient and interference-free workflow in the department Close cooperation with production, technology, and other interfaces Your profile Completed basic technical training (e.g., plant operator, polymechanic, plant and apparatus builder, or comparable) Further training as a Process Specialist FA, Technical FA, or equivalent qualification is an advantage Several years of professional experience in production Initial leadership experience or a clear willingness to take on responsibility Good technical knowledge in dealing with machines, plants, and production processes Structured, independent, and solution-oriented way of working Strong communication skills and enjoyment of teamwork Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP) is an advantage Very good German skills, English skills are an advantage Do you see yourself in the points mentioned above?
